Jalsa Salana UK is a vast event that sees guests of around 40,000 people on average. For a large event like this it is essential to have a First Aid department in case of any medical assistance needed. By the grace of Allah the Almighty, our community has a very responsive first aid department that is run by professional qualified doctors who are members of the community. They are skilled in giving first aid and providing the necessary care in any emergency. Alongside the first aid department we also have a homeopathic dispensary and trained members can also provide any service if needed.

In the time of the Holy prophet (sa) during the battle of Uhud, many Muslims were injured, including the Prophet (sa) himself. Hazrat Fatima (ra) tended to the wounds of the Holy Prophet (sa). The women played a very important role in first aid and provided the Muslims with this care at a very crucial time. (Life & Character of the Seal of the Prophets, Vol. 2 Pg. 341 -342)

It is with this practice of care and consideration that the First Aid department ensures the safety and wellbeing of the guests of the Promised Messiah (as).
