Jalsa Salana UK 2014 is receiving huge media coverage, with journalists, newspapers, TV channels and photographers covering the event from all angles. Already, many newspapers and radio stations have provided coverage for Jalsa 2014 and by the grace of Allah the blessings of this gathering are spreading across the world.
We decided to turn the tables and catch up with the journalists , reporters and photographers themselves to find out what Jalsa Salana UK feels like from their perspective.
A Photographer, working for The Press Association, was here at Jalsa UK for the very first time in his life.
He said: ” I am really enjoying the atmosphere here, there’s a good vibe. I particularly like the food, yes definitely, I recommend the food!”

A representative from Summer TV explains to us that this convention and gathering is like no other. He said:
“This convention is very well organised , there is no trouble whatsoever, I just see people greeting each other with smiling faces. I mean, I visit many other gatherings and they are very different indeed, there’s smoking and fights that I witness. They are not very well organised at all. However, the Ahmadiyya events are always very well organised and there’s no trouble!”
We also managed to catch the media team from The Euro Times, Belgium. They told us that:
“This is our first time at Jalsa Salana. We cover many events around Europe in particularly Germany. This Jalsa exceeds our expectations and it is most definitely better than we thought, the people here have been very hospitable to us. We now aim to strengthen this tie with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat , Insh’Allah. As I am aware of your future events, we would like to definitely cover them as well”
