A person raises the slogan loudly on the mic “Nara-e-Takbeer- (Praise Thy Lord)”- the whole arena replies in unison “Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)”. These Slogans are raised during speeches, nazms (poems) and especially to welcome our Beloved Caliph and as tokens of love when inspired by his words. These slogans are not empty words but have a deeper meaning behind them. Jalsa Salana is not a worldly gathering but a spiritual one where everyone is in a different world, in another reality, where the most important thing is God and His existence. God Almighty had promised to help the Promised Messiah (as), the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community at every step of his mission and this Jalsa Salana was initiated only by the Grace and Help of God.
So these slogans are a way for all the Ahmadis to show gratitude and love to our Lord, Allah Almighty that He has granted and blessed us these days of spiritual blessings and to be under the spiritual light of our Beloved Imam.
